Accompanist

I am available for accompaniment for a wide range of musical styles and areas including:-

Examination accompaniment - ABRSM, Trinity etc

"Classical" accompaniment, including lieder and oratorio with figured bass improvisation etc.

Pop and rock music - using Hammond organs, Rhodes pianos and synthesizers, and backing tracks as required.

Répétiteur for ballet and other dance. My first job was as répétiteur for a ballet school from the age of 12 through 18, a formative experience indeed, not least in demanding playing in time and sight-reading excellence!

I've accompanied many singers and instrumentalists for recitals and auditions, including the winner of Bournemouth Young Musician 2010, accompanying a successful audition for entry into the BSO, two previous winners of the Blandford Young Musicians of the Year competition, local choirs (Dulcima and The Weatherbury Singers), and singing workshops by Sophie Grech, Bryan Husband and Fiona Clarke, or Evans.
