Teaching
Lessons are available for piano, organ, theory and keyboards. I am experienced at teaching all ages from beginner up to grade VIII on piano, organ, keyboard and music theory.
I aim for a structured flexibility in lesson planning, whereby students can work towards exams or not, can play classical or jazz, by sheet or ear, etc, depending on the student. I sit down with the student during the free taster lesson to make sure I understand the student's ambitions. I integrate theory into lessons for students likely to progress to grade five practical.
Rates
My rates are £26 per hour, pro rata (ie half an hour = £13). I can teach at your house or mine.
A hardship fund is available for promising students that do not have the financial means to pay for lessons.
